Quality Assurance at the University of Turku
Related information
Evaluation and peer response have a long tradition of being included in the work of the scientific community. Research, teaching and learning are assessed using many different criteria. Parallel to these traditional quality assurance mechanisms, the University has established a quality system covering all its activities as part of the normal work of the University.
A quality assurance policy is created for the University, and the University management makes sure that quality targets are set at all levels of the organisation. The University monitors and analyses its activities by, for example, internal and external audits, and develops its activities to secure the implementation of the University Strategy.
